Ok, Jill...You Win

Where have I been rather than here writing?  Nowhere.  What have I been doing rather than writing?  Nothing much.  My daughter and her two sons now live with us and somewhere in this new familial configuration I've lost what I previously considered my life.  I drive children to school bus stops.  I shop for food...lots of food.  I supervise the pool.  I'm trying to get back to "Me."  I've been reading again and it feels so good.  I am presently reading The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet by David Mitchell.  So far I really like it.  It's my kind of book.

So, I'm trying to get back in synch.  Writing this is a start.  Thanks Jill for the gentle prod...

Huh, should I call that busy and an excuse to ruin my coffee break? Joking apart it must be a real shock to the system, can just imagine how different life now is. Just make sure you do get your me time though. Been chilly here last couple of days and Pete already shivering and wondering how he will cope with the winter. Have suggested the practicalities of some warmer clothing but every years he agrees and carries on wearing the same.

A couple of years ago through a dog competition I wrote extolling the virtues of this animal charity and they were awarded £2000. Now I'm supposed to do it again, need to get it written in the next few days because time is coming up, just having difficulties getting down to it and what to say. Just cant get the flow going yet, the more I think about it the worse its getting. Need to clear my brain and get it going.

So... in a more gentle phase some pics of the house furnished your style, bet the new washing machine is on overtime? What did you do about the cooker? Dying to hear how things progressed from moving in and going from tenants to true owners?

Do have progress on other sides, suppose that may be why I cant concentrate on thingd at the moment but will try and get down to emailing sometime, once I've sorted my rendering on behalf of the charity. Jill
