They May Not Be Fast But...

Warning for dog owners: Taffy is forever crunching on snails and eats them shells and all. Also, fellow Americans, the English say 'garden' for what we call 'yard' so nowhere outside is exempt. I might have to consider giving up my love for escargot, but will do some research on that front first.

Have come across one dog who was becoming very ill and it took a long time for the vet to diagnose the problem. Know quite a few vets really push the idea of regular worming for lung worm now and say its becoming very common. Just think the thrushes and blackbirds are very helpful in our garden, always pleased to find shells with a hole in them. Would be extremely concerned if I realised my dogs were eating snails. lol
