Well and Truly Home

We spent today at the beach.  That means that we are well and truly home.  I think perhaps a beach day is a metaphor for a settled life in my world.  When I feel the sun on my face, the sand between my toes and the warm Atlantic enveloping me, caressing my soul, I am at peace.  I love my husband.  I love to travel, but I love home the best.  I'm glad to be here.  I don't want to leave again for a long, long time.

So, I am well and truly "home" again in every way.....
