I Don't Have to Die to See Heaven...

...I already live there.  This is what I watch every morning as I sip my coffee. This morning was no exception except that I remembered the camera.   We've counted as many as twenty Finches at a time feeding.  We spend about fifteen dollars a week on seed.  Well worth every penny.

Lovely to see but I think the grey squirrels would beat the finches to it in our garden. We did get a good bird feeder that prevented the bigger birds and squirrels getting to it but the seed being dropped on the floor was causing other problems. So we have had to stop feeding completely. Such a shame, loved seeing the doves and the pheasants coming for the dropped seed. Jill
