The End is in Sight
The chair refinishing/painting/antiquing project is beginning to consume my life. It's a more time consuming job than I anticipated. I have to hold the sponge paint stick between my fingers at the knuckle joint. That's how curled my fingers are these days. Oh well, it's either do it that way or give up doing what gives me pleasure. I'm unwilling to give up yet. The fabric has not yet arrived so there's no big rush. I also need to purchase black piping for the trim.
I am also waiting for this, but in a lumbar size, to arrive. I saw it on Etsy as a throw pillow and asked the seller to custom make a 16" lumbar for the bed. I love Etsy.
The room is ninety-five percent finished. Remember, I tend to be a quasi-minimalist. To me, less is more. One of my friends asked why I didn't move the desk upstairs to the loft. Why indeed? I did. The room is more spacious now and I get exercise every time I haul myself up that big staircase to do some office chore!
OK...here's what I've got so far. It's so hard to take interior room photos. I did my best. The color really looks dark in the photos and it isn't.

With "The End is in Sight" does that imply actual ends will be seen-?
Seems kinda kinky, but....
this really is beautiful. Is this a guest room?
